My clinical work focuses on modern surgical treatment of urological cancers, particularly robot-assisted prostate cancer surgery and kidney-sparing surgery for renal tumours whenever oncologically appropriate.
I graduated from Semmelweis University Faculty of Medicine in 2001. I worked for eight years at the Military Hospital in Budapest and later served as the lead physician of the Hungarian contingent of the UN mission in Cyprus. I passed the European Board of Urology examination (FEBU) in 2007.
I have worked at the Department of Urology of Petz Aladár University Teaching Hospital since 2011 and have served as head of department since 2017. I received a PhD in 2021. I qualified in robotic surgery in 2023 and have worked as an international robotic-surgery proctor since 2024.
From 2023 to 2026 I also worked as a senior urologic oncology surgeon at the National Institute of Oncology. I have performed several thousand laparoscopic and open procedures and have acted as primary surgeon in more than 600 robot-assisted operations so far.
“My aim is to give patients precise care both in the consultation room and in the operating room.”
